A quick 30 minute drive has visitors enjoying everything Seattle has to offer, including Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and the Seattle Art Museum.  Tacoma, with its fascinating Art, Glass and History museums, is only a 20 minute drive away, and a day at Mount Rainier, Crystal Mountain or Snoqualmie Ski Area is easily doable.

Great outdoor recreation

Against a backdrop of the spectacular Mount Rainier, Auburn has approximately 30 parks of all sizes for the whole family to enjoy. There are several biking, walking and equestrian trails, including the White and Green River trails and the Interurban Trail. Golfers can choose from three top quality golf courses: Auburn Golf Course, Washington National Golf Club, and Jade Green Golf Course & Driving Range.

One of the state’s oldest cities, Auburn has retained the look and feel of a real downtown. With its original architecture, combined with historic preservation and on-going renovations, Auburn's historic downtown provides a gathering place for numerous events and some unique stores.
