Auburn Farmers International Market (AIFM)

The AIFM (City of Algona, Auburn and Pacific partnership) is continuing to seek out volunteers to join the Steering Committee. As Councilmember Bill Peloza says, "Many hands make light work and more fun".  In addition, the Steering Committee is on the lookout for a volunteer "Webmaster" to manage the AIFM Internet Domain.  Peloza can be contacted at 253-261-3235 or email bpeloza@auburnwa.gov.

A recent "Meet and Greet" with the Steering Committee and Farmer's/Vendors proved successful.  More than 10 vendors signed up early for the AIFM grand opening on June 14, 2009 at the Sounder Transit Station Plaza in Downtown Auburn.  The committee plans between 20 and 30 vendors participating in the 2009 inaugural season.

The AIFM is seeking a Market Manager Position. Anyone interested in this position, please see the Job Description and Hiring Package on the City of Auburn website at www.auburnwa.gov
